1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and:

("Wbando", "we", "us"), and they govern your use of the Wbando mobile application and related websites and services (together, the "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

2. What Wbando Is

Wbando is a flight-planning utility for FPV drone pilots. It predicts radio-link coverage between a pilot and an aircraft using models of terrain elevation, vegetation (canopy), radio-frequency emitters, and Fresnel-zone clearance. All outputs of the Service are estimates — see Section 8, which you should read carefully before relying on any prediction.

3. Your Account

• You can sign in with an email address and password, through a supported sign-in provider (such as Google, or Apple where available), or use the Service as a guest without creating an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
• You can delete your account at any time — see Section 11 and wbando.com/delete-account.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

• The Service offers a free tier with usage limits (for example, a limited number of scans per period) and a paid subscription (currently offered as Wbando Elite) that unlocks higher limits and additional features. We may change the features and limits of each tier over time.
• Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are billed by the respective store to the payment method on your store account. We use a subscription-management provider (RevenueCat) to activate your subscription in the app; we never receive your payment-card details.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your store account settings: Apple subscriptions · Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app or deleting your Wbando account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through, under that store's policies. Nothing in this section limits any statutory withdrawal or refund rights you have as a consumer.
• If we change subscription prices, the new price applies from your next billing period, and the store will notify you and/or ask for your consent where its rules require it.

5. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own flight planning. You may not:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or reverse-engineer it except where such a restriction is prohibited by law;
• access the Service by any automated means (scraping, bulk querying) or circumvent usage limits, quotas, or technical restrictions;
• resell or provide the Service's data or predictions to third parties as a service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including planning flights that violate aviation regulations.

6. Your Content

You may upload content to the Service, such as flight logs (blackbox files) and saved locations. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a license to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you (for example, generating flight statistics from an uploaded log). You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you upload.

7. Our Content

The Service, including its software, design, models, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Map data, elevation data, canopy data, and RF-emitter data are derived from third-party sources; we do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.

8. Safety Disclaimer — Read This

Wbando's coverage predictions are estimates, not guarantees. They are computed from modelled data — terrain elevation, satellite-derived canopy height, and databases of RF emitters — any of which can be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate for your location. Actual radio performance also depends on factors the Service does not model, including your equipment, antenna placement, output power, weather, and local interference.

You are solely responsible for:

• complying with all aviation laws and regulations that apply to you, including visual-line-of-sight requirements, altitude limits, and airspace restrictions — the Service does not tell you whether a flight is legal;
• maintaining safe control of your aircraft at all times;
• your own judgment. Never rely on a Wbando prediction as your only safeguard against loss of control or a flyaway.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that predictions will be accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of aircraft, equipment, data, or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

11. Termination

• By you: stop using the Service at any time, and/or delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or as described at wbando.com/delete-account.
• By us: we may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or parts of it) with reasonable notice where required by law.
• Sections 7–10 and 13–14 survive termination.

12. Apple App Store Terms

If you use the Service on an Apple device, the following also applies: these Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance, or IP claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions when using the Service on Apple devices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at wbando.com/terms/terms.html, with its effective date at the top. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email where required. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

If we cannot resolve a dispute directly (please email us first), consumers in the Czech Republic / EU may use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) or the EU online dispute resolution platform.
